My friend from Texas drew this for my friend Chance who just died. I don’t know how to feel about this. I left about 2 years ago but still kept in touch and saw him last time i was in Amarillo. He left a note to Aric and all his money and that just broke my heart. To feel like he owed his found family something before he left rips me apart. We were never super close but we traveled together and he was there for almost all my Texas competitions and I always had amazing things to say about him. He worked at Crunch for a while and it was always so warming to see him help new people. Chance if you see this somehow I miss you bro. Your family misses you and I can’t wait to grapple your giant self again in the next life. Love you bro.
This thread is full of the luckiest people on the planet, I think. Also goes to show just how calm even venomous snakes are - coral snakes rarely bite unless you’re actively harassing them - and how important it is to make sure your ID as non-venomous is 1000% certain before picking up any wild snake.
